Rath Yatra was celebrated with immense enthusiasm across Odisha, with KISS Shrivani Kshetra and Devbhoomi in Jindal Nagar being focal points. At Shrivani Kshetra, the day began with traditional ceremonies, followed by the Chhera Pahanra ritual led by Achyuta Samanta. Thousands of devotees participated in pulling the chariots of the deities. The chariot of Devi Subhadra was pulled exclusively by women. Religious chants and recitations were a major part of the event. The Gundicha Temple served as the venue for evening Bhajan Samaroh. The celebrations at Devboomi in Jindal Nagar followed traditional practices. Majestic chariots embarked on their sacred journey. Naveen Jindal, along with Shallu Jindal and Savitri Jindal, actively participated. Naveen Jindal led the Pahandi Vidhi and Chhera Pahanra. The Jindal Foundation provided essential services to the devotees. The event was live-streamed for a wider audience, and celebrations in Jindal Nagar will continue until July 8.
