
The Indian Army mourns the loss of Havildar Sunil Kumar Singh, who was martyred following injuries sustained during Operation Sindoor. The operation was launched in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22nd, targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan. In the aftermath, Pakistan retaliated with drone attacks, one of which resulted in Singh’s injuries. He fought valiantly despite his injuries and received treatment for nearly a month. Army officials have paid homage, emphasizing Singh’s courage and commitment. He was from Buxar district, Bihar. His family includes his mother, a retired headmistress, his wife, and two sons. Operation Sindoor saw the Indian Army target nine terrorist bases in PoK, neutralizing over 100 terrorists.
