The Women’s Dialogue program in Bihar is proving to be a significant step towards women’s empowerment. The initiative, spearheaded by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, hosted dialogues across 70,000 locations throughout the state. The program, which ran for approximately a month, collected over one lakh suggestions related to various aspects of life, including health, education, and social welfare. The state government plans to adapt its schemes based on the feedback received to enhance infrastructure and better serve women’s needs. The insights gathered will help the government in formulating effective and sustainable public welfare programs, particularly for women in remote areas.
