Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM is entering the Bihar election fray with the ‘Seemanchal Nyay Yatra,’ commencing on September 24th from Kishanganj. The yatra will involve Owaisi and prominent party figures. It will cover multiple constituencies in Kishanganj, Katihar, Purnia, and Araria. The party aims to replicate its previous success in the region, where it won five seats in the last election. Despite attempts to join the Mahagathbandhan, the AIMIM did not find success. The party intends to focus on the development and justice for the people of Seemanchal, a region they believe has been neglected by other political parties. This move follows recent political activities, including yatras by Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav in Bihar.
