Union Minister Chirag Paswan has announced his decision to contest the Bihar assembly elections from all 243 seats. During a public meeting in Bhojpur, he stated his objective to bolster the NDA alliance. Paswan also criticized the RJD and Congress, attributing responsibility for the ‘jungle raj’ to both parties. He addressed Rahul Gandhi’s allegations against the Election Commission, suggesting that they represent a premature concession of defeat. Paswan clarified that his focus is on serving Bihar, not seeking the Chief Minister’s position.
