Patna police have successfully foiled a murder plot stemming from a land dispute. The intended victim was targeted by his half-brothers, who sought to eliminate him over a property worth 1.5 crore rupees. The half-brothers offered 8 lakh rupees to hired assassins to carry out the killing. The police acted on a tip-off and arrested the hitmen and, subsequently, the half-brothers responsible for the plot.
