A JEE aspirant in Patna was found dead, having taken his own life. Venugopal, the deceased, was preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination and had been living in Patna for the past four months at a relative’s residence.
The incident occurred at a house in Patna’s Ramnagar Road Number 8B. The student was a resident of Sohsa village in the Arwal district. The father, after not being able to contact his son, sent his nephew and then traveled to Patna, where he learned of the suicide.
The police and family discovered Venugopal’s body hanging when they opened the door. The body was taken down and sent for a post-mortem. The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
The father reported that he had spoken to his son the previous night, and everything seemed fine. He added that there were no family problems and expressed his confusion about the cause of his son’s actions. The police are examining the phone and other items in the room, and the post-mortem report will be used to determine the cause of death. The police are also questioning the family and friends of the student. This tragic event raises concerns about the mental pressure and isolation faced by students.
