A police raid in Kishanganj, Bihar, turned violent when officers were attacked while investigating a theft. The incident took place near Khagda Red Light, where four police officers were injured. The officers were responding to a theft at the residence of Vikas Gupta in the Line Mohalla area, where valuables worth 15 lakh rupees and 60 thousand rupees in cash were stolen on August 26th. The officers were targeted while attempting to arrest a suspect, and the situation escalated with a woman allegedly attacking the officers with a broom and sandals. One woman has been taken into custody following the incident.
