As Rahul Gandhi’s voter rights campaign gains momentum in Bihar, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has made a resolute pledge. During the campaign’s stop in Nawada, Yadav announced that the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections will result in the formation of a robust Mahagathbandhan government. The objective is to install Rahul Gandhi as India’s next Prime Minister. Yadav also launched a scathing attack on the Election Commission, accusing the BJP of attempting to undermine the electoral process by working with the commission to suppress the votes of the underprivileged. He pointed to the alleged instances of living Lok Sabha members being wrongly declared dead as part of a larger conspiracy. Yadav underscored his belief that the people of Bihar would not be easily swayed. He affirmed his commitment to building a new Bihar by uniting people across all castes, classes, and religions. Additionally, he accused Prime Minister Modi of betraying the people of Bihar. Yadav thanked Rahul Gandhi for visiting Nawada and for raising awareness. He stated that it is time to unseat the NDA from Bihar and to embrace change. He reiterated the commitment to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister in the Lok Sabha, suggesting that the opposition is trying to deny essential services such as pensions and rations by removing names from the voter rolls. Rahul Gandhi indicated that his party would expose any vote-rigging activities if given the chance.
