The Darbhanga police have successfully located Vibhuti Yadav, son of BJP MP Ashok Yadav, who had been missing since Sunday. The disappearance sparked immediate action from the police and created a sense of urgency in the community. After an intensive search, Vibhuti was found safe.
Vibhuti Kumar Yadav was last seen at his father’s residence in Darbhanga, where he was taking a morning walk. He went missing, and despite a thorough search by guards and family, his location remained unknown. Notably, he was without his mobile phone when he disappeared.
MP Ashok Yadav reached out to neighbors and relatives, seeking information about his son. When this proved unsuccessful, he formally reported the matter to the Laheriasarai police station. The police swiftly responded, initiating an investigation and conducting a comprehensive search. The search concluded with Vibhuti being found in a garden near Shobhan Mod.
According to MP Ashok Yadav, he had not yet had a chance to speak with his son. He was unsure if his son had eaten and noted signs of mosquito bites, suggesting he had been outdoors overnight. The MP stated that further information would be provided after speaking with his son.
SDPO Amit Kumar confirmed that the police reviewed city-wide CCTV footage following the report. Initial findings suggest that the youth had left the residence voluntarily. Further details will be released after an investigation.
