On Friday evening, a fatal accident took place at Sonpur Railway Station in Bihar. Railway officer Vijay Kumar Singh lost his life after falling from a train. The incident happened while he was boarding the Jogbani-Danapur Intercity. Singh was 43 years old and served as a Deputy Chief Controller. He lived in the Anand Dwarika Heritage Apartment in Shivpuri, Anisabad, Patna. He was returning from duty when the accident happened. He was employed at the control office of the Sonpur railway division’s operations department. After the accident, authorities reached the site, and the body was sent for post-mortem. The family was informed about the tragedy, causing immense grief. The accident also led to delays in several train services.
