Following the 56th GST Council meeting on September 3rd, the government reduced GST rates on select dairy items, effective September 22nd. This has led to price adjustments for Sudha brand products from Bihar State Milk Co-operative Federation Limited (COMFED), bringing savings to consumers.
Butter prices have decreased. Table Butter (50g) is now ₹31, (100g) is ₹55, and (500g) is ₹270.
Paneer prices have also dropped. The 100g pack is now ₹46, the 200g pack is ₹85, and the 500g pack is ₹205.
Milk products have also seen price cuts. Tetra Pack Toned Milk (1000 ml) is now ₹73 and Tetra Pack D.T.M. Milk (1000 ml) is ₹68. Alester Toned Milk is now ₹14 (200 ml), ₹32 (500 ml), and ₹63 (1000 ml). Alester Standard Milk (500 ml) is now ₹34.
Ghee prices are also lower. Special Pouch Ghee (200 ml) is now ₹143, (500 ml) is ₹315, Special Tetra Pack Ghee (500 ml) is ₹325, and (1000 ml) is ₹630. Special Tin Pack Ghee (1 kg) is now ₹640.
Existing products with old packaging will be sold at the new, reduced prices. Consumers should confirm the latest prices with retailers.
