The railway system operates summer special trains to handle increased passenger loads. However, these trains are experiencing issues, including the theft of essential items from the coaches. A recent incident involves the theft of faucets from the toilets on the Hubballi to Muzaffarpur summer special train (07315). The train was delayed by eight hours. At Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay station, it was found that all faucets had been removed from the S-2 sleeper coach toilets. The resulting water leakage alarmed the passengers. A passenger posted a video of the incident on X and filed a complaint with Rail Madad. The Railway Protection Force has been notified, and an investigation is underway. This event underscores a recurring problem of theft on trains, with previous incidents involving items like mirrors, soap cases and faucets.
