Tej Pratap Yadav, who has been expelled from the RJD, has announced an alliance with the VVIP (Vanchit Vikas Insan Party) for the upcoming assembly elections. During a press conference, Tej Pratap stated that they are starting a new phase. He also mentioned that many parties are coming together. He stated that a representative should connect with the people and understand their concerns. He has decided to contest the elections from Mahua. He believes that this alliance will make their rivals believe they are making progress. Tej Pratap said that he is not interested in power or position. He stated that he will take Yadavs and Muslims together. He mentioned that if RJD wants to join the alliance, they are welcome to do so. He also said that he will expose the conspiracy against Tejashwi Yadav soon. Tej Pratap stated that he had given Mahua to Mukesh Roshan as a trust and will give him a ‘jhunjhuna’ (toy) if he cries over the Mahua seat. VVIP is a new party in Bihar, recently launched. Pradeep Nishad, the president of the party, was earlier associated with Mukesh Sahani. This is interesting as Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap’s brother, is part of the Mahagathbandhan, while Pradeep Nishad, who separated from Mukesh Sahani, is now with Tej Pratap.
