In a close call, Tejashwi Yadav, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and a prominent RJD figure, was involved in a convoy accident in Vaishali district on Saturday. The incident happened near Goraul as he was traveling back to Patna after a rally in Madhepura. The convoy had halted on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway around 12:30 AM for a brief break. A truck then collided with several vehicles in the convoy. Yadav, who was away from the vehicles at the time, remained unharmed. However, the crash resulted in injuries to three security officials, who were immediately taken to a nearby hospital. The truck driver was arrested, and authorities are looking into the causes of the accident. The event has raised concerns about the safety of political figures on Bihar roads, particularly during night travel. After the incident, Yadav checked on the injured officials and confirmed he was safe, continuing his routine engagements.
