
A vehicle accident involving the convoy of Tejashwi Yadav, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, took place near Goraul in Vaishali district. The incident happened on Saturday morning on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway as Yadav was returning from Madhepura. A speeding truck collided with two vehicles within his convoy while they were stopped for a break. Yadav, who was having tea a few meters away, was not injured. However, three security personnel were hurt in the crash and were quickly transported to a nearby hospital. The truck driver was arrested at the scene, and an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident. The event has caused concern among RJD supporters, with calls for better road safety and stricter adherence to traffic rules. Party officials are also urging a comprehensive assessment of VIP security protocols, especially for nighttime travel. Yadav has assured his supporters of his safety and has resumed his usual schedule.
