The Bihar Idea Festival recognized outstanding innovation. Shashi Kumar from Patna won first place for his portable automated medical waste water treatment system, which addresses the critical issue of medical waste water treatment. Adarsh Arav’s AI-powered drone platform, designed for challenging terrains, secured second place. Shambhavi Sharma’s low-smoke cooking stove, aimed at benefiting rural women, took third place. Ajit Kumar’s biogas-powered cold storage facility earned fourth place, while Yug Srivastava’s AI-powered legal operating system, a first for India, clinched fifth place. The winners will receive direct entry into the pitching round under the Bihar Startup Policy-2022.
