
An accident involving a truck and the convoy of Tejashwi Yadav, former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, occurred in Vaishali district on Saturday. The incident took place near Goraul while Yadav was returning to Patna from Madhepura. The convoy had stopped for a tea break along the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway when a truck struck two security vehicles. Fortunately, Tejashwi Yadav was not in his vehicle at the time and escaped unharmed. Three security personnel were injured and immediately taken to a nearby hospital. The truck driver was arrested on the spot, and an investigation has begun to ascertain the cause of the accident. Concerns about road safety and security for political figures traveling in Bihar, especially during nighttime travel, have resurfaced following this incident. Tejashwi Yadav, known for his active political schedule, has confirmed his safety and resumed his routine, reassuring supporters.
