
A grim discovery in Patna has led to a police investigation after the bodies of two young siblings were found inside a car. The vehicle was parked in a busy part of the city. The deceased children, a brother and sister, were found in the Patliputra police station area. The incident occurred on Friday evening, and the police are currently investigating.
The car was parked near the Gokul Path Nala on Indrapuri Road Number 12, within the jurisdiction of the Patliputra police station. Local residents, alerted by a foul smell, notified the police. Upon opening the car, officers found the bodies of the two children. The community was shaken by the discovery. The children’s family lives in a different lane, approximately 100 meters away.
Reports suggest the children were on their way to coaching when the event took place. The car had been parked on the roadside for an unknown period, remaining unnoticed until the smell prompted action.
The police are conducting a thorough investigation. Local residents are discussing several possibilities, including kidnapping and murder, as well as the possibility of suffocation. Police are working to determine the cause of death. The FSL team attended the scene. Police are reviewing CCTV footage from the area and gathering information about the car’s owner. An autopsy will be performed to establish the cause of death. Police are exploring all possibilities, including death due to asphyxiation and foul play.
