During the voter rights यात्रा led by Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav accused the BJP of manipulating the Election Commission and attempting to steal votes. He noted growing public awareness of these alleged actions and affirmed the commitment to safeguarding democracy in Bihar. Yadav criticized the Chief Election Commissioner’s press conference, highlighting the lack of concrete answers and raising concerns about individuals declared dead despite being alive. He implied that the Commissioner was merely repeating information provided by the Prime Minister’s Office, and he challenged the Commissioner to reveal any BJP affiliation.
The voter rights यात्रा’s itinerary for the day included a morning start from Hanuman Temple, Punama Wazirganj, in Nawada district. A foot march preceded a public address by Rahul Gandhi at Bhagat Singh Chowk in Nawada. The day’s schedule included a lunch break and visits to Warisaliganj and Sheikhpura, with the day ending with a public meeting in Barbigha.
