The alarming communication was not received directly by the MP but by his astrologer, Praveen Shastri, in Gorakhpur. Shastri filed a police report detailing the incident that occurred on November 4. The caller, using the number 7904161800, made alarming pronouncements including “This time, both Modi and Yogi will be gone,” alongside direct threats to Shastri and specific threats against MP Ravi Kishan. Citing the parliamentarian’s active role in public life and his involvement in campaigning for the Bihar Assembly elections, Shastri has formally requested increased security for the MP. Law enforcement agencies are actively investigating the threat, working to uncover the perpetrators and assess the severity of the situation.
