
Raipur, October 25, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that ensuring affordable and quality healthcare services is the top priority of the state government. He participated in the national conference ‘Criticon Raipur-2025’ based on critical care, organized today at a private hotel in Nava Raipur, the capital.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Criticon Raipur-2025 is a platform for innovation and excellence in the field of medical science, especially critical care. It provides an opportunity for experts and researchers from India and abroad to come together and set new directions in this field. Critical care medicine is the backbone of life-saving, giving new life to patients in critical conditions. He said that the state government is giving special attention to the expansion of hospitals, critical care units, and medical facilities in both rural and urban areas.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Medicity and Pharma Hub are being constructed in Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar, and new hospitals are continuously being established in other cities of the state. He said that these steps will prove to be milestones for Chhattisgarh in the field of healthcare.
Chief Minister Shri Sai congratulated the entire team of Ramkrishna Care Group for this national event and said that Chhattisgarh is emerging as a center of medical excellence across the country.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that it is a matter of pride for Raipur to host a conference on such an important subject as critical care. He said that the deliberations of experts during this two-day conference will surely bring forth excellent innovations that will prove to be a boon for human health treatment. Dr. Singh said that today, with the use of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Technology in the medical field, new possibilities for treatment are opening up. This new technology is writing the new story of the new India. Praising the role of doctors, he said that when there is an emergency at home and the patient is taken to the hospital at the right time, the role of critical care doctors is most important in dispelling the fear of the family. He said that the need of the hour is that critical care units should be established in every district and every major hospital. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the central government, and under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the state government is continuously working in this direction. Free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh through the Ayushman Yojana is a great relief for the common people.
Doctors from India, abroad, and the state who provided excellent services in the health sector were also honored on stage at the event.
On this occasion, Dr. Sandeep Dave, Director of Ramkrishna Care Hospital, Shri Varun Khanna, CEO of Care Group, and more than 1300 doctors from India, abroad, and across the state were present.
