Raipur, May 8, 2025 / Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has said that banking facilities will be made available in all the 11,000+ panchayats of Chhattisgarh within a year. He said that the Chhattisgarh government is closing avenues of corruption by bringing in new reforms. Revolutionary changes have been made in the field of land registry to prevent corruption. He was addressing the Solution Camp organized in Gram Patna, Surajpur district, today under the Good Governance Festival.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced ₹81.90 crore for developing Gumeti Ghat as a tourist center and ₹45.42 lakh for the development of Sarna-Devgudi. In addition, he approved ₹48 crore 26 lakh for various roads and bridges.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said at the Solution Camp that revolutionary changes have been made in the field of land registry. Now, along with online registration of land, mutation is also being done on the same day. Earlier, one had to make rounds for months for mutation after land registration. Now, after the reform, on one hand, fraud in land registration will be stopped, and on the other hand, people will also get convenience. Similarly, cases of family donation and relinquishment of rights have also been simplified. Now, land and property can be given to family members with a fee of ₹500.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that to provide banking facilities in panchayats, in the first phase, Atal Digital Service Centers (Common Service Centers) have been started in 1460 gram panchayats in the state from April 24, National Panchayat Day. Through which, villagers are being provided with transactions of money and various types of certificates. In the second phase, this facility will be made available in 5,000 gram panchayats within 6 months. He said that a survey is being conducted for Awas Plus-Plus to provide Pradhan Mantri Awas to the houseless people. All houseless people should get this survey done so that they can get a house.
Chief Minister Shri Sai praised the district administration for the prompt disposal of applications received in the Good Governance Festival. He handed over fishing nets to four beneficiaries, ration cards to 5 beneficiaries, and keys of Pradhan Mantri Awas to four beneficiaries in the camp. Similarly, he provided pension approval to four beneficiaries and approval orders for animal sheds and goat sheds to two beneficiaries each.
Food Minister and Minister in charge of the district Shri Dayaldas Baghel, Minister of Women and Child Development Smt. Laxmi Rajwade also addressed the program. On this occasion, many public representatives, panchayat representatives and a large number of villagers from 15 gram panchayats were present.
