A severe road accident in Balod, Chhattisgarh, has resulted in the loss of life. A truck, positioned near a rice mill to receive a load of husk, was struck by a tanker, leading to the immediate deaths of the truck driver and his helper. The unfortunate incident occurred in the Fagundah village, under the Purur police station’s purview. The truck driver, Shailendra Thakur, and the helper, Budhlal Dhimar, were standing outside the truck when the tanker crashed into them. Three additional individuals nearby sustained injuries. Police have taken action against the tanker driver and are looking into the events leading up to the accident.
