The state government has initiated the placement of selected young professionals in different government departments under the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellowship (CMGGF) scheme. An official directive has been issued by the relevant ministry. The directive states that a total of 36 young professionals have been appointed to various departments. The primary goal of the CMGGF scheme is to fortify good governance within the state. The fellowship program spans two years and is divided into eight stages. Initially, IIM Raipur organized a one-month academic session for the selected fellows, focusing on public policy. As part of the program’s second phase, beginning August 18, 2025, the fellows will be assigned to different departments. Their responsibilities will include developing a thorough understanding of governmental operations and assisting in the implementation of developmental policies and programs. The Department of Good Governance and Convergence is the designated nodal agency for this scheme.
