
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, during his visit to South Korea, has invited green mobility solutions provider ModernTech Corp and railway maintenance solutions company UNECORAIL to invest in Chhattisgarh. Sai highlighted the state’s focus on clean energy, sustainable transport, and robust railway infrastructure. He proposed that ModernTech Corp establish an EV charging manufacturing unit, anticipating that this project would establish Chhattisgarh’s reputation in the clean energy and sustainable transport sectors. The Chief Minister also emphasized that the state’s Industrial Policy 2024-30 supports green energy and reduced carbon emissions. He stated that this investment would create jobs, foster green technology skills, and improve transport networks. During the meeting with UNECORAIL’s CEO, discussions covered local manufacturing, technology transfer, and railway infrastructure development. Sai also noted that the state government aims to promote clean energy and sustainable development in line with the aspirations of the people. He assured investors of streamlined processes to ensure their projects’ quick implementation, and invited them to partner in the state’s development. Government officials indicated that the proposed projects would create thousands of direct and indirect jobs, support local component manufacturing, and establish Chhattisgarh as a national hub for green energy.
