
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed serious concern regarding the recent incident involving three girls from Narayanpur. The girls were reportedly being transported to Agra from the Durg railway station by two nuns under the guise of providing nursing training and subsequent job placement.
According to the Chief Minister, preliminary information indicates potential human trafficking and religious conversion, which poses a serious threat to women’s safety and the societal structure.

CM Sai confirmed that the investigation is underway, and the matter is now in the legal process. The government is committed to acting with complete transparency and sensitivity, allowing the law to make its decision. He affirmed that Chhattisgarh is a peaceful and inclusive state where all religions and communities coexist in peace.
CM Sai stated that the government prioritizes the security and respect of women. He called it regrettable that the issue concerning the daughters of Bastar is being politicized. He emphasized the importance of avoiding the politicization of such events, especially those involving the security of the daughters of Bastar.
