
In Raipur, the Chief Minister, Vishnu Deo Sai, visited Shubham “K Mart” to connect with the public and personally experience the advantages of GST savings. The visit allowed him to gauge the impact of the recent GST rate reductions on consumers. He purchased essential household goods worth ₹1,645 and paid using UPI.
The Chief Minister interacted with shoppers, inquiring about the effect of the reduced GST rates on the prices of everyday items. He engaged with housewives about their household budgets and discussed daily routines with youths and senior citizens. He chatted with other customers. This warm and approachable behavior touched the people present, with many noting the Chief Minister’s presence as that of a common citizen among them.
He also discussed the GST reforms with shoppers. The reduced prices of medicines and groceries were seen as a major relief. The Chief Minister responded, “This is the true goal: that the reforms resonate with the general public.” Purchasing items himself and observing the new prices, he stated, “This improvement is not just on paper, but a visible change in the life of every family.”
The Chief Minister also appealed for support for the Swadeshi movement, receiving the reply, “You go ahead, we are with you.”
