
Arun Sao, Chhattisgarh’s Deputy Chief Minister, recently visited Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district where he launched several developmental projects, despite heavy rainfall. Sao, also the Minister of Public Health Engineering, inaugurated Atal complexes and unveiled statues of Atal Bihari Vajpayee in four municipalities within the district. Sao emphasized that Chhattisgarh was a result of the vision of the former Prime Minister, and these complexes were built to honor him. He urged local residents to maintain the cleanliness of the complexes. The development projects included a 5.30 crore water augmentation scheme and PM housing for 26 families in Pavni, 1.64 crore from the councilor’s fund, and 1 crore for additional development work. Bhatgaon saw the completion of a 14 crore water augmentation scheme, 3.05 crore approved for PM housing for 99 families, and 1 crore for other developmental work. Sarsinwa received approvals for 2 crore in development works, an 8.50 crore tap water connection scheme, and PM housing for 31 families. The Sarangarh Municipality was granted 8.18 crore, including a 6.40 crore drainage construction plan, a 4.41 crore allocation for the construction of a Nalanda Library, and 2 crore for other development projects. The Deputy CM also distributed keys to beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, reflecting the government’s focus on providing housing for all in need. These projects are expected to bring substantial progress to Sarangarh-Bilaigarh.
