Naxals have murdered a former Sarpanch in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. The incident took place in Chhinakodepal village, under the jurisdiction of the Modakpal police station. The murder has instilled fear among the local population. The Naxals attacked Vijay Jawwa, the former Sarpanch, with sharp weapons at his home. They then left his body on a village road.
