
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai chaired a video conference from the Mahanadi Bhawan Ministry in Nava Raipur, to assess the implementation of governmental schemes with the district collectors. During this meeting, the Chief Minister conducted an in-depth review of the progress of development initiatives across all districts and provided crucial guidance to the officials present.
The Chief Minister conducted a comprehensive, district-specific review, focusing on the status of cases related to land title transfers, both uncontested and contested land divisions, record corrections, error resolutions, land acquisition proceedings, boundary demarcations, and land diversions.
He underscored the importance of minimizing repeated hearings, stating that they not only impose financial strain on the public but also lead to a waste of their time and effort, ultimately undermining public trust in the governmental system. He directed officials to reduce the frequency of hearings and ensure the prompt resolution of all pending cases.
Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Subodh Kumar Singh, instructed that all revenue-related cases be meticulously recorded in e-Courts to facilitate effective monitoring and tracking. Moreover, special attention was to be dedicated to the correction of records and the rectification of any errors. A specific directive was issued to conduct a dedicated campaign at the tehsil level, utilizing the services of patwaris, to ensure the accuracy of records.
Highlighting the significance of national highway projects, the Chief Minister emphasized the necessity of expediting the land acquisition process to guarantee the timely and seamless advancement of national highways and the Bharatmala project. Collectors were instructed to promptly resolve all pending cases concerning land acquisition and compensation distribution.
Emphasis was placed on prioritizing the completion of land acquisition and compensation distribution activities for infrastructure projects such as roads, railways, and mobile towers within the Bastar division, specifically in Narayanpur, Dantewada, Sukma, and Bijapur.
Chief Minister Sai reiterated the state government’s commitment to enhancing transparency and accountability within the revenue administration. He asserted that an efficient governance system necessitates the timely delivery of justice to the public. Therefore, he instructed every official to ensure that cases are resolved without any delays and in a just manner.
He also instructed officials to accelerate the farmer registration process, aiming to complete the registration of all eligible farmers expeditiously. The officials were instructed to give serious attention to the digital crop survey and to ensure its timely completion.
The Silver Jubilee celebrations, marking the 25th anniversary of Chhattisgarh’s formation, commenced on August 15 and are scheduled to continue for 25 weeks. Chief Minister Sai directed all district collectors to organize local events, thereby transforming the Silver Jubilee into a celebration characterized by active public participation. He encouraged the uploading of all program details to the official portal and the enhancement of publicity efforts.
The Chief Minister announced the upcoming Seva Pakhwada (Service Fortnight), which will be observed from September 17 to October 2 as an integral part of the Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee celebrations. This period will feature various public service initiatives, including blood donation camps, health camps, and revenue camps. He urged the officials to link this occasion with every citizen of the state to enhance public engagement and strengthen public relations.
The review meeting saw the presence of key officials including Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Secretaries to the Chief Minister Rahul Bhagat, P. Dayanand, Finance Secretary Mukesh Bansal, PCCF Sunil Mishra, Secretary of Public Works Department Kamalpreet Singh, Secretary of Revenue Department Reena Babasaheb Kangale, Managing Director of the Culture Department Vivek Acharya, and other departmental secretaries, commissioners, and directors.
