
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has sanctioned ₹75 lakh for the Dhurwa community in Chhattisgarh, earmarked for the construction of domes in five locations. Each dome will be funded with ₹15 lakh. He also assured support for development proposals from 36 Dhurwa community Sarpanchs for their Gram Panchayats. The announcement was made at the Nuakhai Milan ceremony and the inauguration of the ‘Olek’ social building in Jagdalpur. Sai emphasized the state’s commitment to the development of tribal communities. He referenced the ‘Dharti Aba Gram Utkarsh Yojana,’ a program initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to support tribal-dominated villages, with a budget of ₹80,000 crore. Additionally, he mentioned the Prime Minister Janman Yojana, which aids in integrating particularly backward tribes into the development mainstream.
