
The Chhattisgarh High Court’s silver jubilee was celebrated, with Governor Ramechandra Deka as the chief guest. Deka highlighted the court’s role in upholding citizens’ rights and ensuring justice for all. He emphasized the significance of making justice easily accessible, especially for the rural population and the less privileged. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai affirmed the government’s commitment to providing timely justice. The event featured the release of a commemorative magazine. The event was marked by the presence of several dignitaries, including the Governor, Chief Minister, and Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu. Deputy Chief Ministers and other ministers attended the event, as well. The Governor praised the court’s role as a protector of citizens’ rights and a guardian of justice. He acknowledged the contributions of the court’s founders and the dedication of its staff. The Chief Minister highlighted the technological advancements under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, particularly the shift towards the Indian Justice Code from the British-era penal code.
