A case of rape has been reported in the Dongargaon police station area of Dongargarh. The incident involved a man assaulting a young woman who was alone in her house. The victim, who lives with her brother, reported the assault to the police. She explained that she was home alone on June 21st, as her brother was at work, when Hemant Rajput, a resident of the same village, unlawfully entered her home and raped her.
After the woman informed her relatives and then reported the crime to the police, an investigation was initiated. The police apprehended Hemant Rajput, and during questioning, he confessed to the crime. Law enforcement is currently taking further actions in the case.
