Chhattisgarh is taking proactive measures to ensure a seamless supply of fertilizers for the Kharif season in 2025. The state has already stored a significant quantity of fertilizers, totaling 12.27 lakh metric tons. The government is closely monitoring the supply chain. Considering the potential shortage of DAP, the state is promoting the usage of alternative fertilizers such as NPK, Super Phosphate, and Nano DAP, ensuring that farmers’ interests are protected. The distribution target has been increased to 17.18 lakh metric tons. The government has ensured sufficient urea supplies, essential for paddy cultivation. Moreover, the government is promoting Nano DAP. For this, the cooperative sector will store one lakh bottles of Nano DAP.
