
The Chhattisgarh School Education Department has declared a comprehensive holiday calendar, providing a total of 64 days of vacation for students in the upcoming academic year. The announcement, specifying the holiday details, was made by RP Verma, Under Secretary of the School Education Department. The schedule incorporates breaks for key festivals and seasonal periods. There will be a six-day Dussehra break from September 29, 2025, to October 4, 2025, followed by a six-day Diwali break from October 20, 2025, to October 25, 2025. A winter break of six days from December 22, 2025, to December 27, 2025, is also scheduled. The longest break will be the summer vacation, spanning 46 days from May 1, 2026, to June 15, 2026. The complete list amounts to 64 days of holidays.
