The University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued notices to 54 private universities for non-compliance with regulations concerning information disclosure. The universities were instructed to upload public self-disclosure information on their websites’ homepages to ensure transparency for students and parents. They were also required to submit necessary documents in a specified format to the commission. Three universities in Chhattisgarh – Anjanya University, Raipur; Dev Sanskriti University, Sankara Kumhari; and Maharishi Management and Technology University, Bilaspur – are among those listed.
