Additionally, the alert includes Bastar, Narayanpur, Kondagaon, North Bastar Kanker, Dhamtari, Balod, Rajnandgaon, Gariaband, Raipur, Durg, Bemetara, Kabirdham, Surajpur, Korea, and Balrampur.
Residents in these areas are warned about the possibility of lightning strikes and heavy rainfall accompanied by high winds. The State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) and local authorities have advised the public to avoid open areas, trees, power lines, and fields during periods of adverse weather.
