Raipur, October 02, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid homage to Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri by offering flowers on their portraits at the Chief Minister’s residence office in Raipur today.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Mahatma Gandhi gave a new direction to the country’s freedom movement through the path of truth and non-violence. Gandhi Ji’s life gives us the message that difficult situations can be faced through the path of firm faith and satyagraha. He said that even today, Gandhi Ji’s ideas are useful in giving a better direction to the society and we all get inspiration from him.
Remembering former Prime Minister late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Shastri Ji kept simplicity and service paramount in his public life. He boosted the morale of the people by giving the slogan of Jai Jawan Jai Kisan. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Shastri Ji’s loyalty and honesty will always inspire the citizens.
