Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai landed his helicopter today in Baldakachar, Kasdol development block of Balodabazar-Bhatapara district, to get feedback on government schemes. He held a chaupal under a banyan tree in Baldakachar and visited the Kamar Basti here, meeting beneficiary families of various schemes. The Kamar here make various kinds of goods from bamboo.
Chief Minister Shri Sai saw Kuleshwari Kamar’s family making bamboo goods in Kamar Basti and inquired about their work. He also asked the price of the bamboo products. Shri Sai liked these items very much. He immediately bought two Parra, two Dhukna, and one Supa for a wedding in his family. The Chief Minister’s total bill came to 600 rupees. He happily gave Kuleshwari 700 rupees.
