Workshops should be organized at the district level to create awareness among people.

Raipur, May 6, 2025/ Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain has directed all the Collectors of the state to effectively implement the 10 revolutions made in the registration of properties at the district level. He said that the revolutionary reforms made in the interest of the general public should be communicated to the people.

Chief Secretary Shri Jain has said that the objective of the 10 public utility aspects of the Registration Department is to make the property registration process more transparent, simple, digital, and citizen-centric. Through facilities like Aadhaar-based authentication, online encumbrance certificates, WhatsApp information service, registry from home, and automatic mutation, the general public will now be able to avail the benefits of registration much more easily. He has asked the Collectors to conduct workshops at the district level for effective implementation of these reforms and to continuously monitor and inform the general public about the services.

The Chief Secretary has said that with the participation of the Collectors, this initiative will be successful at the grassroots level and Chhattisgarh will be further strengthened as a strong model of good governance.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai launched 10 revolutionary reforms of the Registration Department on May 3. These include Aadhaar verification to prevent fake registry, registry search and download, online encumbrance certificate, cashless payment of stamp and registration fee, WhatsApp services, DigiLocker services, automatic creation of registry documents, creation of documents including stamp from home, registry from home, and automatic mutation with registry.
