Raipur, July 21, 2025/ Chirayu Yojana has become a boon for children. Especially for families whose financial condition is not good, who cannot go to other cities and get treatment in a private hospital. Jashpur, a tribal-dominated area, where people of special backward tribes also reside. This scheme is becoming a support for the poor and needy. Pahadi Korwa Anjali Bai, Anshika, Ritesh, or many such children like them who are struggling with heart disease or any other disease. Chirayu Yojana has given them a new life.
Anjali Bai, born in a special backward tribe Pahadi Korwa family in the small village of Sonkyari, nestled among the forests of Manora development block of Jashpur district. Whose heart disease was treated with Chirayu Yojana. When Nanhuram, the father who runs the house by doing small jobs, found out that Anjali had a hole in her heart, he didn’t understand what to do. After the initial checkup at the community health center in Manora, the Chirayu team examined them. In which it was found that Anjali had a hole in her heart. Anjali was taken to a big private institution in Raipur for treatment. Where Anjali got well after a successful operation.
Similarly, there are many children from poor families in the district who have been successfully treated through this scheme. After examination in a private hospital, Ritesh, son of Sudarshan Chauhan, a resident of Purani Toli, district headquarters, was found to have a hole in his heart. Getting treatment in a private hospital was very difficult for his father, who earned a living for his family by doing labor. Then they took their child to the district hospital. Where the doctors at the hospital gave information about the Chirayu scheme and sent them to Raipur for better treatment, where the child is healthy today after the operation and better treatment. Similarly, after the initial treatment of Anshika, daughter of Kritibai and Dhaneshwar Yadav, residents of village Beharatoli of Kunkuri development block, for a serious heart disease in Raipur Medical College, Satyasai Medical Institute and Indian Institute of Medical Sciences, Anshika’s heart operation was performed at Apollo Hospital in Chennai. A total of 14.50 lakh rupees were spent, which was borne by the government under the Chirayu scheme.
Similarly, 2-year-old Anvi Bai, 9-year-old Anant Nayak, 9-year-old Kumar Nayak, suffering from congenital heart disease, were successfully treated under Chirayu at Apollo Children’s Hospital, Chennai. Under this scheme, Novel Bhagat, a resident of Chirbagicha, district headquarters, Garvit Singh of BTI Para, was also successfully treated free of cost for congenital lip and palate deformities in a private hospital in Raipur. It is noteworthy that under the Chirayu scheme, complete health check-ups of children are done by visiting Anganwadi centers and schools. After the examination, after getting information about 44 types of diseases and deformities, children are treated with the Chirayu scheme. If needed, children are also taken to good hospitals across the country for treatment.
