
The national capital is recovering from the recent heavy rainfall and subsequent flooding. The Yamuna River’s water levels are receding. Delhi NCR experienced heavy rainfall from September 1st to September 8th, leading to waterlogged streets and the Yamuna rising above the danger mark. The rain has now stopped in Delhi.
For the next five days, no rain is expected in Delhi-NCR. The region can expect heat and humidity to return. The forecast indicates no rain in Delhi from September 10th to September 15th. This period will be dry, with sunny conditions and occasional cloud cover.
Uttar Pradesh Weather: The weather in Uttar Pradesh is changing. A heavy rainfall alert has been issued for September 11th and 12th. There is a chance of more heavy rain on September 15th. Today, parts of western and eastern UP may see rain and thunderstorms. No heavy rain alert has been issued. On September 11th, both east and west UP are expected to experience rain and thunderstorms, with potential for heavy rain in parts of eastern UP.
Rainfall Predictions by Region: According to the weather department, eastern Madhya Pradesh will experience heavy rain today. Chhattisgarh will see heavy rain until September 13th. Bihar is expected to receive heavy rain until September 12th. West Bengal and Sikkim will have heavy rain until September 14th. Odisha will see heavy rain from today until September 12th. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands will have heavy rain until tomorrow. Central Maharashtra, Marathwada will experience heavy rainfall from September 13th to 15th, and Konkan and Goa on September 14th and 15th.
Mountain Weather Outlook: Heavy to very heavy rain is expected in Nagaland and Manipur on September 11th and 12th, and in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya from September 12th to 14th. Rain is also predicted for Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. The weather department predicts rain in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on September 13th, and in Uttarakhand from September 12th to 14th.
