
The Raipur-Jabalpur Intercity Express service began on August 3rd, connecting Raipur in Chhattisgarh with Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. This daily intercity service was flagged off by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. The train will cover the distance in approximately 7 hours and 50 minutes, departing from Jabalpur at 6:00 AM and from Raipur at 2:45 PM. It will have a total of nine stops. The Rewa-Pune Express will run weekly, departing from Rewa at 6:45 AM on Wednesdays and arriving in Pune on Thursdays at 9:45 AM via Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Nagpur, and Ahmednagar. The return journey will commence from Pune on Thursday at 5:30 PM, reaching Rewa on Friday, covering a distance of about 1490 kilometers in 27 hours. This train is anticipated to promote educational, business, and employment opportunities between the two states. A new weekly train service connecting Bhavnagar in Gujarat to Ayodhya Cantt in Uttar Pradesh has also been flagged off. This train will cover a distance of approximately 1,552 km in 28 hours and 45 minutes, with regular operations commencing on August 11, 2025.
