A resident of Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, was murdered following an altercation stemming from a dog barking at the attacker. The victim, identified as Sujit Khalkho, was returning home when he was attacked by three individuals with a sharp axe. His uncle, who tried to intervene, was also injured. Police investigations revealed that the attackers had a prior animosity towards the victim, and the incident may have been fueled by old rivalries exacerbated by the dog’s reaction.
