The Youth Congress demonstrated their anger in Bhilai by burning an effigy of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in response to the ED’s actions. The raid by the ED team at the residence of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in Bhilai in the morning fueled the outrage among Congress workers. The protest specifically targeted the arrest of Chaitanya Baghel, son of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. The Youth Congress issued a stern warning, threatening to घेराव (surround) the Chief Minister and Home Minister’s residences if the alleged misuse of the ED continues.
