The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has initiated a series of raids in Chhattisgarh, focusing on an investigation into the state’s liquor scandal. The raids, which occurred on Sunday, targeted the homes of several liquor traders in Raipur, Bilaspur, and Durg. The EOW team conducted searches at 10 locations across the state.
The investigation centers around allegations of illegal activities within the state’s liquor business, including the use of counterfeit holograms to evade taxes. The EOW is currently examining documents seized during the raids and gathering further evidence to build their case.
