Mathura is reeling from a horrific incident that exposes the dangers of blind faith. A woman seeking a child was sexually assaulted by a tantric who exploited her vulnerability under the guise of performing rituals. This case exemplifies the perversion that thrives under the cover of religious practices.
A woman from Agra, struggling to conceive for eight years after her marriage, turned to Mustaq Ali, a tantric based in the Naujheel area of Mathura. She was unaware that the baba she was trusting would betray her faith.
Mustaq Ali promised the woman a child and brought her to a room for tantric practices. As incense smoke filled the room, the woman’s voice became inaudible. The accused seized the opportunity to commit the act. When the victim tried to resist, she and her family were threatened with violence.
Initially, the woman, trapped in the network of superstition, had lost hope. She eventually gathered the strength to report the incident to the SSP office. The police swiftly filed a case against Mustaq Ali under the Indian Penal Code for rape and issuing death threats.
The tantric is currently evading authorities as police teams hunt for him. The incident highlights the damaging effects of superstitious beliefs on society.
The local community has expressed strong disapproval. They are demanding stringent action against individuals who take advantage of people’s desperation. This incident serves as a call for society to break free from the shackles of superstition.
