
An incident of a brutal attack by stray dogs in the Mainpur village of Dhamtari district has created a climate of fear among the residents. The victim, a 9-year-old schoolgirl named Anya Netam, was severely injured in the attack. The girl was quickly taken to the district hospital where doctors provided her with treatment and administered 15 stitches. Due to the severity of her condition, Anya was later transferred to Raipur for further medical care. This incident underscores the growing problem of stray dogs in the area.
The attack took place when Anya was playing near her home after school. A pack of stray dogs surrounded her, launching a violent attack. The dogs bit her on the head, hands, and legs. Villagers who heard the commotion rushed to the scene to rescue the girl. She was first taken to a local hospital in Nagri, but due to the lack of significant improvement in her condition, she was transferred to the Dhamtari district hospital. After assessing the severity of the injuries, doctors decided to move her to the Mekahara Hospital in Raipur. The doctors expressed their shock at the extent of the injuries sustained by the girl.
