11 Fishermen Cooperative Societies of Gangrel submerged area get the right to fish again

Raipur, On getting the right to fish again to the fishermen cooperative societies of the Gangrel dam submerged area, the members of the affected societies reached the Chief Minister’s residence the other day and thanked and felicitated Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. On this occasion, members of 11 fishermen cooperative societies of three districts of Gangrel submerged area—Dhamtari, Kanker and Balod were present.
On this occasion, on the demand of the villagers, Chief Minister Shri Sai assured to provide an ambulance for public सुविधा in the submerged area and to open a branch of the national bank soon. He said that our government is constantly striving for the upliftment of the poor and the deprived. Solid steps are being taken to give the आम जनता their rights through various government schemes and programs, so that self-employment opportunities are available at the local level and people can be directly benefited.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, our government has worked to give respect to daughters and women by promoting the construction of toilets in every house under the Swachh Bharat Mission. Today Swachh Bharat Mission has taken the form of a mass movement. Similarly, through the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, आम citizens have been connected to the banking system and the benefits of various schemes are now reaching the beneficiaries directly through DBT. This व्यवस्था has ended the role of middlemen and has effectively curbed corruption.
He said that the state government has again entrusted the work of ready-to-eat to women self-help groups, so that women are getting opportunities for economic empowerment. The Chief Minister said that our government is continuously working for the upliftment and respect of every section.
On this occasion, Dhamtari Mayor Shri Ramu Rohra and former Women’s Commission President Smt. Harshita Pandey were present. In the program, members of 11 fishermen committees of Gangrel dam submerged area including village Urpuri, Telguda, Mogragahan, Koliari Purana, Koliari Naya, Gangrel, Futhamuda, Tumabujurg, Alori, Bhilai and Devinavagaon along with other dignitaries were present in large numbers.
